Our Team Turn Up On Time
A cracked, leaking or collapsed drain doesn't always mean digging up your garden, drive or floor. First Fix Response relines damaged drains from the inside — we cure a new pipe inside the old one, so it's repaired without the mess, cost and disruption of excavation. You get a named local team, a clear explanation of what's wrong, and the price agreed before we start.
No call-out charge. Call now across the ME postcodes and surrounding areas.

Drain relining — also called drain lining — repairs a damaged pipe from the inside, with no digging. We feed a resin-saturated liner into the drain, set it hard against the old pipe wall, and it cures into a smooth, seamless new pipe within the old one. The result is a fully repaired drain that's often stronger than the original, fitted through an existing access point rather than a trench across your property.
Relining fixes the kind of damage a CCTV survey typically turns up:
Cracked or fractured pipes
Leaking or displaced joints
Sections starting to collapse
Pipes damaged by tree roots (once the roots are removed)
Drains that keep blocking because the pipe itself is failing
If you've had a CCTV survey that found damage, relining is usually the repair that follows.

From a one-off blockage to a collapsed pipe, here's everything our drainage team handled. Select any service to see how it works.

Survey — a CCTV inspection confirms exactly where and how bad the damage is.
Clean and prepare — we jet the pipe clean and, where there's scale, hardened deposits or roots, mill it back to a sound surface using specialist Picote milling equipment. A liner only bonds to a clean pipe — this is the step cheaper jobs skip, and it's why their repairs fail early.
Line and cure — the resin liner goes in and cures hard against the old pipe wall, forming a seamless new pipe.
Reinstate connections — where the lined pipe has branch drains joining it, we reopen those junctions from the inside with a precision milling cutter, so everything connected still flows freely. It's the difference between a lining that works and one that blocks a connected drain.
Final survey — a closing camera check proves the repair.

We cure a new resin liner inside the damaged pipe, forming a seamless new pipe within the old one — repairing it from the inside, through an existing access point, with no trench dug across your property.
It depends on the damage. A single cracked section can be patch-lined; a pipe failing along its length needs the full run relined. A survey tells us which — and we recommend the smallest repair that properly fixes it.
Most damaged drains can be relined. A pipe that's fully collapsed with no bore left has to be excavated — we'll tell you honestly which yours is.
A properly installed liner typically lasts decades — often 50 years or more — and is frequently stronger than the original pipe.
There's no call-out charge, and you'll know the fixed price before we start. It depends on the length of pipe, the access and whether it's a patch or a full reline — we'll give you a clear figure once we've surveyed it.
Yes. As well as checking the condition inside the pipe, we can trace and map where your drains run, how deep they are and where they connect — useful before an extension, before buying a property, or before any digging. You get a clear map you can keep. Many jobs use both together: map where it is, survey what state it's in.

Regular drainage maintenance can help prevent blocked drains. Avoid pouring grease down sinks, dispose of waste correctly, keep gutters clear and arrange routine drain cleaning or CCTV inspections if you experience recurring drainage issues.
It depends where the blockage is. A drain inside your boundary that only serves your property is usually yours; a shared or public sewer is the water company's. We'll tell you which it is when we're there, and point you to the right people if it's not yours.
That's a sign the pipe itself needs attention. We'll survey it with a camera and recommend the right repair — root removal, relining or, as a last resort, excavation.
